    Default My finished Viv

    Took me awhile since I had some set backs with the vertical lid conversion but here it is all set-up and ready. Now to get the temp and humidity set and get my tree frogs next reptile show.

    yeah i wanted some colour picked it up at Lowes a month ago, and after a week it started blooming.

    Thats awesome.i wouldve like one to but it wouldn't fit in my tank. lol yours has a very vibrant color. i like it. What the Thick stemmed plant you got in there?

    The brom is awesome, I wish i could find a good one for my tank.

    Its a snake plant Sansevieria trifasciata I think

    As for the Brom I'd say check out local home supply stores (Home Depot and Lowes in the States) they have good plants you just need to replant them before you put them in the tank

    Bromeliads are so cool and so many varieties out there to choose from. Here is a link to a nice article on Broms and there are links at the bottom for places to order from.

    Thanks Don. Everything I've found up here are massive I'd need a tank that is36x36x48 which would be a great build in my eyes but probably not so much for the wifes. lol

    I have been cycling the light for a day and a half now and I have the temp under control for clowns (85 during the day and 72 at night), but I can't keep the humidity up. at night it drops to 60 percent and during the day it only reaches 85 percent any way I can help bring it up.
