dear all,
my name is mariska and im from the netherlands. i really like frogs and right now i have an big aquarium with 5 african dawrf frogs and guppies. i enjoy them very much. i also have a terrarium with a masagascar grandis pehlsuma... a gigant day gecko. his name is freddy and he is really cool! his is still a youngster tough... and im going to buy him a bigger cage soon. im thinking 1meter by 50cm by 60cm. i keep found of frogs and im wondering if i could combine a certain kind of frog with freddy, my gigant day gecko? it would be awsome if a frog could live at the bottom of my future cage while freddy lives above, it is a tree living lizard after all.
i like the pacman frogs and this kind of frogs seems to aquire about the same tropical temperature and humidity as freddy does. but i would like to know the opinion of some experienced pacman owners. freddy has not reached his full length yet, but i expect he will get approximitly 25cm. i read the pacman gets between 10 and 15cm and that it will eat everything. im afraid the same goes for freddy... they eat everything that will fit into their mouths. i saw a video on youtube on which a pacman ate a live mouse by holding its head until it sufficated... iew... and i definetly dont want that to happen to my freddy!!! or the other way around!!
soooo... what do you guys think? is a pacman suitable with a phelsuma grandis? if no: is their another kind of frog that will be able to live with freddy comfortably?
thank you in advance! i hope i hear from you soon!
kind regards,
mariska and freddy and the african dward frogs![]()
