I recommend the use of fake plants over live plants, since these frogs like to burrow and kick their substrate around.

I feel the best fake plant to use is a fake fern. You just take the fake plant and place it wherever you would like in the terrarium. These plants are found in the same habitat as these frogs in the wild, and they like to grow on the forest floor, where pacmans live. If your frog knocks this plant down, it is really easy to set it back up.


However, it is not required to have plants with pacmans and I have been keeping my current pacman with no plants at all. However, you should give them a log or piece or cork bark so they can hide under it.
