Well, I would not get too carried away. The blue is a morph of green, but fades as the frog gets older. I have never seen an adult. But have heard that the blue turns dusty and pale green.

I wouldn't doubt it, most reptiles/amphibians do fade or change color as they get older. I asked some dude that was selling them at the expo and said that it stays that color, but i'm sure it was said only for profit

I was looking at the phantom pacman, but it's too pricey for me lol

I too have heard the claims of samurai reptiles, saying they keep their color. But I've also seen frogs colored like that as froglets who turned regular old cranwelli brown. The owner's however could not prove that the frogs came from samurai.

I personally like the ornates they produce. I love those colors and I'd be willing to bet they're a lot more likely to keep those colors into adulthood.

The Blues usually turn Seafoam green or sort of aqua as adults. The Phantom Pac is usually in the high hundreds from my understanding. Mike has some beautiful frogs and morphs.

They all change color as they grow. Some become more vibrant and other become duller shades. Patterns become moredefined though especially within the marbilization of their colors.

We have a pair of the Samurai Blues and they are both Seafoam Green now. We plan to breed the male to some of our other breeders this spring, he will hopefully be of size by then. We;ll see what comes of it. We knew they would change as they grew, we just didn't expect it to be that much, but it's all good. We have a few projects lined up and hope to be coming out with new stuff eventually.
