Unhappy Green Tree Frog in Distress!

    Hey guys and or girls!

I have three green tree frogs since january 2011. as of two to three days ago the smallest frog Charlie has decided to act weird. By weird I mean Charlie does not Sit upright. He kind of leans against the glass, does not jump around as much. Also, as of yesterday he was jumping around on the walls of the tank as if he were possessed and then finally landed on his back. Earlier tonight he did the same and did it again an hour ago. I keep the water in a gallon of poland spring store bought once every month. i buy them their 12 small crickets every 2-3 days. clean the tank every two weeks. i spoke to the owner of the petland i go to and he says it sounds like Charlie is on his last legs. I hope this isnt true! he said vitamin deficiency is the culpruit. My mom picked up a UV light and I had it on for 14 hours today. Im really worried Charlie wont make it to Christmas day. Pls any help any tips or tricks i would greatly appreciate it.

Hi there, Im sorry Charlie is unwell. Is he eating at all? If it is indeed a vitamin deficiency then I would suggest the powder form which can be coated on Charlies food. You can get it at most pet shops. I would suggest getting him to the vet if you are able. Good luck Lma1085.

He did not eat during his last meal, as of now he threw himself on his back and laid there. I placed him on his stomach. I think he's knocking on heavens door. :'(
