    My white tree frog looks like hes swallowing or bobbing his head.... when i pick him up and when he goes in the water..whats wrong

    Does he look like he's yawning? One time I caught one of my frogs doing that repeatedly and it really freaked me out until I realized it was shedding.

    I have to agree with Frog Mom! When they are shedding it can really catch you off guard if you have never seen it before! Please someone correct me if I am wrong but I believe that you are not supposed to touch the frogs during or right after the shedding because the new skin is tender and very sensative!

    yeh i recently had this, iv caught my frog doin it twice. either like hes gulpin or (as said by frog mom) yawning. i was really worried but everyone on here has assured me its shedding. oki is fine so im not worried about him.

    Thnks ya he was shedding lol...but iv seen his shedding skin in the water

    Definitely sounds like shedding which should occur pretty routinely with your WTF

    Mine sheds all over the place, mainly in his water bowl, you will also see it on the side of the bowl or floating in it hahah. My frog will use is hands to start removing it from his head! Crazying looking.

    Mine shed a bit as well. One of mine hides when he sheds, I think he might be self conscious, he is my little modest frog! My other one likes to sit up front and center kinda like she is looking for the attention! Hey dad look at me, I am growing!
