These Gigantic frogs are very elusive and little is really known about them or their breeding behavior. They are not availible within the pet trade. You really couldn't reproduce their semi aquatic environment due to the size of this frog. They're over 10 inches snl and larger. Plus I believe they can leap 10 feet in a single hop. Definetly couldn't house a frog that large and that powerful.
After I posted my thread a list of similar threads came up and several of them answered some specific questions I had. Any thoughts about about this species, excluding the difficult husbandry and CITES designation, would still be appreciated.
I do believe these are a CITES 2 animal ...
Gotcha. There for a minute I was confused. It didn't connect when I read"CITES". Most of the time people don't use the actual term they just say protected and where the animal is on that graph.
Here is a little info from a book I have.

Goliath bullfrog(Conraua goliath)
"Found exclusively in West Africa, this is the worlds largest frog. With its powerful hindlimbs, long webbed toes, and smooth, slippery skin, it is well adapted to a life underwater, and is an excellent swimmer and diver. The tips of its toes are dialated, but the function of this feature is not known. The Goliath bullfrog lives along streams in jungles, and feeds on other frogs, small reptiles, and mammals. It rarely emerges on land, but when it does it is quick to dive back into the water whenever it is threatened or disturbed. Unusually among frogs, the male of this species is larger than the female and does not call to attract mates. Little is known about breeding habits of the goliath bullfrog."
Hey I've got that book too! Haha it's awesome and big..... Like the frog! ;D
