I would be cautious, i know that what makes a goldfish "gold" is toxic to other animals in large quantities. Also there is a chance that you could introduce parasites or other harmful things if they are bought from a store.

Stop feeding them Goldfish immediately. Goldfish are extremely high in fat and as was said above they are toxic. Especially in large amounts. Not tgo mention the mucus film they produce and coat themselves with is also toxic. They carrie disease as well. You can feed them Mollies or Guppies but only as treats. You can use earth worms or night crawlers as a staple food that can be fed to them all the time. Why are you having trouble getting crickets?

As an experienced keeper of predatory fish, can tell you with certainty goldfish are the worse "feeder" in terms of nutritional value and health. Have you tried locating a source of night crawlers in your locality? Walmart has them in their sporting goods section or could try a bait shop too. Just make sure you get the plain ones without dies or chemical fish attractants. Good luck!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog !

You have to make sure the worms are dye free. Don't buy from a bait shop. Wal-Mart/Petsmart/and Petco are good places to buy them.
