What are good easy roaches to use as feeders for big boys such as marinus (Surinam locale), guttatus, and paracnemis ? I've looked at Giant Lobster roaches , maybe there are better species out there ?

Dubia roaches are great.
have to agree, dubia roaches are going to give you the best bang for your buck plus they have soft exo skeletons that provent impaction, high protien, all around good buy.
I'm actually going to invest in the larger roach species . I've been told by many folks , dubia will not be the best choice for toads because unless you throw the roach in front of the toad and the toad eats it . The roach will bury in the substrate.
I get all my frogs used to feeding outside their enclosure. I think that helps a lot
I'd go with the lobsters. You're right about the dubias, they play dead then hide. I have also had my fire bellied spit them out (I think because they don't move when they're being eaten)
