I believe i can house a single dumpy tree frog in a 5 gallon aquarium...My dumpy struggles to find food in his 10 gallon so i was wondering about a half 10 gallon..Take it in to consideration, he sit in the corner 24/7 and only goes into his water bowl. i know you guys and girls probably hate the idea but i really wanna go with it
Hi there, How long have you had your frog?. Ive always gone with the bigger the better as when frogs are in the wild they have an even bigger space. What are you feeding your lovely Whites tree frog and how have you set up his/her home?![]()
The problem is not the size of the tank. I would take a guess that it's one of two things:
1. You recently got the frog and it's still adjusting and being stressed.
2. The enclosure is not properly setup. You want to fill it with plants to make as much hiding and climbing space possible. They more secure he feels, the more you'll see him, and he will move around more. If you post some picutrs, we will probably be able to help out more.
EDIT: Also, I do not vote because I believe even 10 gallon is too small.
i feed him crickets as a stable, the occasional meal worm, night crawlers, as treats calci worms, wax worms . i got him two weeks ago hes shed once ( what ive seen) but hes grown in size (but not in weight to much )... his home is setup i do not not know how to post pictures though. :[
how do you post pictures
Here's a link to a cool trick you may want to try with your frog..

Only way I know how to post pics is if you have iPhone, they have a tapatalk app. I don't have iPhone, I have blackberry and I send my pics to my email then I upload my pics to my photobucket app and from there you can copy/paste the img code right to the page you want. Works nicely once I figured out how to do it![]()
I dont have a photobucket :/
I didn't have one either, but it's free and easy.. Only reason I set one up was to post pics here haha
I just downloaded the free app to my iPad
Idk, maybe someone else can chime in and help you out with the way they upload pics, sorry I couldn't be of more help to you

First option:
Use the built-in image-upload feature that this website provides.
Click on Pictures (in the green toolbar right under the Frog Forum-text)-> My albums, and then just upload your pictures. Then, just link them in this thread.
Second option:
Upload via an upload site, like Shanny suggested. But, instead of that not-so-good photobucket, I strongly suggest imgur.com. Fast, easy, no registration required.
