Welcome Gary. If you can get your tank set up before you get you frog that way you can monitor the conditions (temp/humidity) to make sure everything is good and consistently stable. Less stress on the new frog = success.

Welcome to Frog Forum Dave! Feed my Pacman crickets (sized between frog's eye distance) and night crawlers (from Pet Shop or Walmart, can cut them if required) every other day. Dust them with Ca during week and a multi-vitamin supplement on the weekend feeding.
Make sure substrate is Eco-Earth, Plantation Soil, or similar; and use tap water with a conditioner to remove Cl and chloramines from it's bath water.
Be at home on delivery day and once you receive it, release it home with as little handling as possible. Would then let it recover from trip stress before feeding. Digestion process consumes a lot of energy would recommend wait until the second evening home to feed it. Good luck!
Remember to take care of the enclosure and it will take care of your frog!
Thanks for the advice. I will be on Christmas break soo ill definitely be home. Im using "Forest Moss" as a bedding. I am planning on getting crickets, are they easy to breed? I also was wondering how do you get the little boxes at the bottom of posts that says what frogs you have?
welcome to the forum! Moss can be dangerous as a substrate for pacman frogs. They are aggressive eaters and often swallow the moss when the lunge for the food. Ingesting moss can cause impaction and death. If you do keep the moss, you must feed them in a seperate container. However having to be moved so much can cause a lot of undue stress. When pacmans get stressed (for any reason) they tend to stop eating. This is why most keepers will highly recommend coco fiber or plantation soil as Carlos mentioned. The Pacman Care Article under the care sheets tab is MUST READ! It has a lot of essential info. Also, check out the pacman section of the forum. A lot of new frog caretakers rumn into the same issues, so you'll find a lot of useful info there too. Keep us updated. We would love to see pictures when your little one arrives!
Oh, yes crickets are easy to breed. They really don't need any encouragement to do so. Have a separate container and throw some crickets and food in there and before you know it, you'll have crickets all over.
The tags are short code that you paste into your signiture by edititng your personal settings. I believe TK did most of tags that you see on this forum. Look under the general discussions section. You can also do a search for them and it should bring up the threads that have the code in them. Hope that helps.
Welcome aboard.
Here is link to Tags thread; the codes are in post no. 6.
