    Question Cricket help

Hello, i am new to this forum and i need some help with where to buy crickets.

I live in New Zealand and i own 3 small golden bell tree frogs, at the moment i've been feeding them a few flies each a day and the occasional mealworm and they have been doing great. Although i'd really like to be able to get some crickets and breed them. Now this is where i need some help, my local pet stores such as Animates and Cyberpets only stock flies and various worms as frog food so i'm not too sure where to get crickets? i live more so in the city rather than the country and i've only ever seen one or two crickets so i think catching my own is out of the question. Does anybody know of a place in New Zealand that sells crickets? or maybe an online store?

    Thanks.

Biosuppliers (the ones that breed the flies) will ship crickets and locusts to you. But they don't have a very long shelf life unless you set up a wee tank for them, you'll find a few set ups for them around this forum. Contact mike ashby, bio@pl.net. for the criks, he's sure to help you out. Locusts can be found regularly on trademe too.
