I was looking to get a clown frog in the next two months and I was REALLY had my heart set on a giraffe phase, but I know they are extremely hard to come by. Does anyone know of anyone selling them? If not I was looking for an hourglass phase instead again does anyone know anyone that is selling them
Thanks Thad
stick with your original plan with the giraffe phase.. give me some time and i will see what i can come up ith.. i want some myself..
Thanks I'm building my own background and tank for them so it won't be ready for a couple weeks anyway but keep me posted.
I would go for the hourglass, Dendropsophus ebraccatus. If you wait for giraffe phase leucophyllatus, you may never get anything. Michael Novy (Rainforest Junkys) breeds normal leucophyllatus and ebraccatus, see his article in the latest Reptiles Annual.
I found a guy selling Giraffe's but being a college student on a fixed budget I can't spend the money to get one. Do you know any breeders with hourglass I haven't found very many pictures of them or breeders of them either.
