I'm looking to set up a 29g tank as half water and half land. There will be no dirt. Just think of how you would care a musk turtle(a large basking area that has enough room for them to roam), with shallow water like at most 7inches deep.
I'm looking for a frog I can see often. I have clawed frogs, pacmans, 2 american toads but I been wanting to set something up.
I'm looking to either go herping for one or buy one online. I would love to be able to have atleast a small group in the tank like atleast 3.
Any suggestions?
FBT's can be kept in groups, and would do great in an enclosure such as that, or if you added coco-fibre to the land area, you could get a Giant African Bullfrog, they spent quite a bit of time in water.
Any other frogs?
"Asian Floating Frogs" Occidozyga Lima, or Leopard Frogs, or Mossy Frogs?
Ok just to point out... in a 29 gallon... 3 frogs would be the MAX you should have... rule of thumb... 1 frog per 10 gallons MAX. Also if you are wanting tree frogs Id be really careful with that much water... they can be prone to drowning if they cant find a qiuck exit... they are not swimmers like usual frogs but like to soak. I keep my water level below my frogs head just to be safe.
