I bought another baby Amazon milk frog back in May, He's now 6cm in length and growth seems to have slowed right down now.
Is it ok for him to go into my large viv with my other two adult milky's or is he still too small? I don't want him to get picked on or worse...Eaten.
(He's puffed up and on the right in the pic, On the left is my large 9cm female.)
I would say he should be fine moving in. I usually do a little rearranging right before to take some of the attention away from the new addition.
1.0.0 Red Eyed Leaf/ Frog - Agalychnis callidryas
1.1.1 Bumblebee Dart Frog - Dendrobates leucomelas
1.1.0 Dendrobates truncatus - Yellow Striped
1.1.1 Dendrobates tinctorius – Bakhuis Mountain
1.1.0 - Dendrobates tinctorius - Powder Blue
1.1.0 - Ranitomeya vanzolinii
BTW, They are beautiful specimens!! How are they doing now?
As long as he is not small enough to fit in the mouth of the others, I don't see why not. However I do not know how territorial this species is, so I would follow Don's advice and rearrange the tank.
I'm probably going to leave it another month just to be safe, She is quite large and greedy!
