Hey everyone,
I have a divider seperating one of my male african bull frogs from my big pacman. My pacman was purchased a few months back and for the life of me I cannot switch him over to anything thats not live mice. I have never fed any of my other frogs live EVER. I am completely against it. But I'll get to the point. I tossed the adult mouse in the side of the pacman, my pac lunged forward and the mouse jumped.... into the other side..... well my ABF who had never seen a live mouse in his life engulfed the mouse with out even chewing or killing. I screamed and wanted to cry (lol just kidding but it was upseting), It looked like the mouse was struggling in his stomach because the frog was acting funny puffing in and out moving awkwardly. I let him be for a while and all is well now I guess he just needs to learn to chew his food.
My question::::: He has never been fed live ever, he has always eaten frozen thawed prey from tongs, is he going to be a pain in the *** now? I'm really hoping he forgets this meal.... has anyone ever fed live sometimes and dead prey sometimes with success..... im just worried once you go live you dont go back
