I am not sure how old he is, i bought him at a local pet store about 6 months ago. I believe they might have had him about a year before i got him. i recently ( about 3 times ) have been feeding him small adult mice, and the last time he ate was about 2 weeks ago. He normally eats every friday without problem. What should i do?
I think you should soak him in some nice shallow dechlorinated water, just a tad warmed, like 80 degrees. When was the last time he passed feces for you?

Start out doing as Heatheranne said with some warm de-chlorinated water only as deep as up to the frogs chin. How long has it been since your frog pooped. Mice are difficult for frogs to digest and if you don't. Properly research your pet before you buy it then husbandry will be difficult for you and things like this are more likely to happen. Mice are also very high in fat and cancause seriouse problems down the road as they get older. Stop feeding mice to your Pac. Try giving him/her some night crawlers/crickets that are gut loaded and dusted with calcium dust with vitamin D3 every other feeding and dusted with a multivitamin once a week. Your frog may have also have became deseased from the mice or injured if you're feeding live mice. You should only feed pinky mice to your Pac as they cannot bite because they lack teeth at that age. What are the temps in the enclosure and humidity levels? Do you use de-chlorinated water? Do you dust your frogs food? These are easy questions and should be answered easily if you reasearched before obtaining your Pacman. Just because they can eat mice when they're older and larger and because people on youtube post videos of their frogs eating them does not mean that it is acceptable for the frog. Variety of foods is key to a healthy Pacman as well as good husbandry. There is a Pacman care sheet on tthe forum inder the care articles. It has very good info.
Thank you guysI wound up taking him out of his dirt and putting him by his water and left the room for a couple hours. He finally pooped then ate his mouse.
Thank you again
You're welcome. Try some nice crickets for a bit. They're easier to digest. Good luck!

Keep in mind, its not necessarily BAD to feed your frogs mice. I feed mine a frozen/thawed once a month. I feel that since variety is the key, why not? Think about it like this, for humans, alcohol in excess is bad, but in occasion studies have shown (depending on what you drink, wine is the best) that it can in fact be beneficial. All im saying is moderation is key for a varied and healthy pac diet when feeding mice.![]()
