Do I have to do anything differently? I think my big frog Prince has started to go. He's buried himself and he's never done this before! I thought if the temps were high enough they wouldn't go into hibernation?

He probably isn't. They do completely bury themselves all the way occationally. They usually don't try to hibernate unless conditions are right for it. How long has he been buried this way?

He's come back up false alarm. :P He was only buried a couple of days, very strange for him though, he's usually sitting there waiting for food all the time. He came out to poop. :P I feel bad as I hadn't changed the water in a while, I thought he was gone for the winter, that will teach me I guess!

I have a huge heat mat I'm going to swap him over to tonight, I got bigger ones for winter, hopefully that will generate more heat!
