Why not a native grey tree frog? Easy to care for, big eaters and well, just plan cute!!
If you go with grays, be warned, their call is LOUD. We get them in our pool, and I can never sleep in the summer. Plus, the pool is like 75 feet away from the house.
Remember guys... I live in CanadaNo tree frogs here except Spring Peepers!

Nope, they don't! No US amphibain suppliers that I've looked into ship to Canada, yet Understory, one of Canada's only dart frog supplier handles all the shipping paperwork for customers who order from the US... -.- Still, I'm glad I can get a RETF here anyway.
Any ideal for a 50"+ tall tree for the center of the viv??

Dieffenbachia or a Rubber Tree of some type might work.
There has apparently been Gray treefrog sightings up your way, but they are more to the south and also far to the west: http://nhic.mnr.gov.on.ca/herps/All_Ont/frogs/tgtf.jpg
The Ontario Reptile Expo Ontario Reptile & Exotic Pet Expo supposedly goes to Ottawa, but no date announced. Not really day tripping distance for you, but you'd have lots to chose from.
What website was this and is the buyer not planning to continue the operation?

I had stubbled across a place in Surrey BC that sells alot of varieties but I have had zero luck finding it again.
Yeah, Ottawa is a little ways from me for sure!It was called Captive Herps, he offered over 50 species of cb amphibians and over 150 of cb reptiles, etc. His website was bought out by a chain store, so he no longer has any carries any animals in stock. Here's his e-mail address: captiveherps@hotmail.com His name is James.
