    Hmm, yes it would! I found a website that offered many different kinds of tree frogs in Canada (mossy tree frogs, amazon milks, barking tree frogs, cb baby red eyes, etc.) but he just sold the website!

    So now I'm very limited to the frogs I can get...

    Why not a native grey tree frog? Easy to care for, big eaters and well, just plan cute!!

    If you go with grays, be warned, their call is LOUD. We get them in our pool, and I can never sleep in the summer. Plus, the pool is like 75 feet away from the house.

    There has apparently been Gray treefrog sightings up your way, but they are more to the south and also far to the west: http://nhic.mnr.gov.on.ca/herps/All_Ont/frogs/tgtf.jpg

    The Ontario Reptile Expo Ontario Reptile & Exotic Pet Expo supposedly goes to Ottawa, but no date announced. Not really day tripping distance for you, but you'd have lots to chose from.

    sorry, the greys go as far as SOUTHeastern Canada, not NORTHeastern.
