Ok, So i have 3 FBT's to very healthy looking and then one that looks like it is starving. He doesnt eat very often, he kind of turtles from the food. He is very scardy, always running or i guess hopping really fast and hiding. He just looks awful. I dont know how to fix him.
Please help me!
Could you please post a photo of his enclosure?
The blue container is just temp. there is a drainage hole in the bottom. We have another tank for them, it just inst set up yet.
Have the toads been treated for gastrointestinal parasites? A trip to the vet may be in order and all toads should be treated, not just the thin one.
Is there anything you can get at the pet store?
Hey, sorry I didn't reply eariler! Something came up...
Okay, well first of all, quarantine the thin toad, use a seperate tank/container lined with damp paper towel. This way, you can stop it from infecting the other toads (if it is ill) and monitor it's food intake. Plus the paper towel helps keep the humidity up. Also, be sure to keep the quarantined toad in a quiet, warm room.
I do not know about what to do about the vet, Kurt will know about that topic.
As for now, if you cannot afford a vet, or there is none in your area, quarantine is the best method, it may recover fully if you do this becuase it can feed without the stress of the others, and the damp towel will help to keep the it hydrated.
Hope your FBT recovers!

Also is it normally if the toads go from bright green to muddy green on a daily basis? They are ALWAYS a different colour. I heard that the colour change is due to the shedding of skin, but if cant be that frequent.
They should stay bright green. Turning dark with this species is an indication that they are not happy or feeling well. You need to see a vet for a deworming. There is no over the counter drug you can get in the pet store that will fix the problem. Quarantining them from the others is pointless at this point. If one is infected, they all are. A vet should be consulted.
Do the females ever bark? Im convinced that we have at least one girl out of the 3. My fiance says he has seen this one on top of the others in molest mode. I havent. They are the nosiest 3 frogs in the world.
Hows the other one doing??
The other toads are just fine. There eatting normal acting normal.
What about the ill one? What have you done with it?
We are looking for a vet and pricing out the cost to get him looked at. Though last night we did a water change in the tank and then feed them and he ate just fine. So im wondering if maybe he was just unhappy.
