    I mix this :

Premium Cricket Gut-load - $12.75 : Purrs and Waggs Healthy Pets

with a dry homemade recipe for cricket food

I do not use fresh viggie stuff because I raise my own crickets, it just gets moldy too quickly! Makes the job more time consuming
( I owe John a "rasing crickets" care article- If I ever get it done it may be in the care article area )

    I dust with these:

Rep Cal Herptivite Multivitamin Reptile Food Supplements

Rep Cal Herptivite Multivitamin Reptile Food Supplements

( on separate days ) schedule as follows mon- Ca, tues. vits, wed. nothing, thurs Ca, fri. vits, sat. Ca , sun. nothing
    therefore:
    2 days nothing
    3 days - Ca.
    2 days Vitamins

I think the separate day schedule is important when there are multiple frogs

A while back- I stopped buying the "Flukers Cricket Diet (the tan powder stuff)" because it always has bugs in it! The seal seemed to always be broken? Yes , I know- frogs eat bugs. I just did not want to introduce some kind if parasite into the mix.

    Good idea Lynn.
I think I'm going to set a schedule like that, seems to be better.

    Shanny,
You could check with others. However, the Rep Cal is supposed to be a good supplement.
I hope so, as it is the only one I have ever used. I remember reading an article , online, regarding using vits and Ca on separate days.
I'll try to find it. I think I will start to keep better track of these things.
The article was specifically about housing a few frogs (or more )in one enclosure, increasing the chances of them getting what they need.
