Mine eat anywhere from 2-4. I put a bunch in there tank every 2nd or 3rd night, the leftover crickets stay in the tank and they feed on them whenever.. I do this because my female red eye seems kind of lazy where she sometimes sleeps two nights in a row and will wake on the third, eat a couple crickets maybe wander for a bit and soak, then she goes back to sleep.. I'm guessing she wakes later at 5 or 6am because she will usually wake when my male makes noise.. And he usually wakes back up around that time too
