Hello, I'm not sure this is in the right area since it's about a FBT's tank, not the actual frog. Sorry if I'm in the wrong place!
On to my question:
I just built a background for the 10 gal where I'm housing my firebelly toads, but now I'm upgrading them to a new tank. I'd like to use the tank they're currently in (the one w/ the great stuff, silicone, and peat moss background) for my fiancee's long tailed lizards, but I need to know how (or if it's needed or possible) to clean the old tank to free it of firebelly toxins to make it safe for the lizards.
Again, the background was made by first spraying great stuff onto the glass, adding cork bark, then covering the foam with silicone with moss pressed into it.
I know I can reuse the gravel and plants and soil in their new enclosure, but I also want to reuse the tank.
Please let me know how to clean the tank for use for another species. THANK YOU for all information! Also, I'm posting this to a couple of forums, so if you're a multiple member and see this post again, don't feel like you have to reply more than once (if that is your inclination.
Thanks!
