Thanks for the tips. I'll definitely go get myself an appliance timer. I had thought about getting one but kept putting it off. Yeah I was surprised to see that I had a 5.0 UVB since I had thought that they gave me an Exo-Terra Repti-Glo 2.0 CFL bulb, but I hadn't really checked to make sure. I guess I have to double-check everything next time instead of relying on petshop people..

Yeah def get a timer, it helps a lot then u have one less thing to worry about. And idk about everyone else, but I like using the red bulbs for at night. I leave the red one running almost all the time, day and night and my daytime bulb is the only one on the timer. I like the red because of viewing purposes and from what I've researched, these frogs can't see the red light so it won't bother them. Plus it's a heat source too, and since it's getting pretty cold here in Minnesota I like to leave it running 24 hrs a day

Yes, I had read the care sheet and thanks, it's always useful to go over it again.

I got the timer fixed up so the lighting situation should be fixed now. Good to know about the red bulbs, and is there a difference between the blue and red light bulbs?
