Thread: Fluker's Farm

    Thumbs down Fluker's Farm

Just bought some crickets from Fluker's farm.

I haven't counted the (potential) casualties yet but I am seeing dermestid beetle larva crawling around inside the screen...

I don't like having to dispose of hitchhiking insects I really don't...

Counted about 55+ beetle larva and 3 full grown beetles. Getting 55+ beetles out of a container swarming with crickets is not a fun way to spend my Tuesday night...

On top of this the container held many dead crickets and no food or water. (Which is probably why many crickets were dead or missing limbs.) I think I'll stick to breeding and driving to stores for my frog food from now on because it's harder to tell if it is worth the money when you can't see what you're buying. -_- Ah well.
