    Wink keeping d/tinctrios

Right guys I thinking of keeping a group of five tincs together in a 5ftx2ftx2ft heavily planted viv these will not be with any other amphibians in their enclosure. This year since starting to keep Dartfrogs I have had success with my colony of Phantasmal E/Tricolor which now number 30plus and my D/Auratus, most if not all posts recommend keeping in sexed pairs but their viv size is considerably smaller than what I have to offer. They don't mature till between12 and 14 months so I have a good 9months of planning building and planting to get it right. As usual I intrested in your views and constructive comments

Wow that is really a huge enclosure! I wish i had something that big to work on lol

I really cant say that i like the idea of 5 tincs together.. granted there in a huge cage but females are really aggressive and could end in the death of each other if they bound across one an others path. I suppose if your stuck on getting 5 tincs i would try to go with a 1 female 4 male, or 5males, possibly 2 female 3males but i would be ready to pull one of the females if fights break out. I would looooove to see a good group of leucomelas in there though, that would prove to be a extremely impressive vivarium. Seems you have a good understanding of darts with your previous success and i believe you will make the right decision.
