I do not know, I am not a moderator or admin. Just saying that I never actually notice it was gone, since I always just type it. So, just saying that if you want to format the text, you can still do it.

In case anybody don't know how to, here's a quick reference of the commonly used (Just remove every SPACE within the brackets):

[ IMG ] link to an image [ /IMG ] - Shows the image directly in the post
    [ I ] text you want in italic [ /I ] - Italic
    [ B ] text you want in bold[ /B] - Bold
    [ U ] text you want underlined - Underlined
    [ URL ] web adress [ /URL ] - Creates a direct link

    Thanks Martin,
Is the formatting tool bar gone for all forum members as well? Do you have it?
I am aware of how to create the formatting using shortcuts.
I'm just wondering what happened to it?
Or was it a setting that I inadvertently changed in the "forum settings"?
Or, is it just a setting for my laptop?

It was not directed to you in person, it was more a general helpbox if someone else wants to format their text without the toolbar.

Since several people in this very thread have said that it's gone for them too, I doubt it's something you changed in your settings
And no, I do not have it either.

    Thanks Martin,
I appreciate your help. I thought you were answering me directly as my post was quoted. Sorry.

At least I know I did not mess something in the forum settings!
I didn't think so. The instructions are quite straight forward.

    Thanks again

Thankyou! I'd look in my list of "smiley's" for a more appropriate thankyou smile (than the glee one lol)... but it's gone too! -.-

Really hope we can get our tool bar back, smiley’s back, and the avatars to a normal display size!

There is a lot going wrong recently did any of you see the thread about not being able to post pics I still can't and the face icons appear on mine but when I click them they don't work. The avatar thing is just weird.

Just join photo bucket, and upload your pics to there, then copy their [IMG] codes, and paste them directly into your responce LOTS of people on this site use photobucket or similar websites that offer [IMG] codes!
