I posted a few weeks ago about transporting my fire-bellied toads over the course of a 3 day trip. We successfully made it to Virginia and set up the tank immediately to get the toads back to their larger habitat. They have been living in it for about 36 hours. One of our toads has always been very slender and the other one slightly chunky. Well, I thought I noticed today that the larger one was a bit larger in the belly than I remembered...and my husband just asked me the same thing. He is eating normally and is just as active as he was before we moved (I say "he" only because my son named him as such, no actual knowledge behind this). Could this just be bloating or could it be pregnancy? How long until I start looking up exotic pet vets in the area?
Some photos would help to identify the problem if there indeed is one.
