Hi and welcome to Frog Forum! We have a great care sheet for bumblebee frogs at Frog Forum - Bumble Bee Walking Toad - Melanophryniscus stelzneri (Weyenbergh, 1875) - Care and Breeding
Have you been to the Nebraska expo? It's well worth the trip![]()
Hello I am new to the forum so i would first like to say my name is Justin, second of all, I have never owned a frog or toad besides bull frogs, leopard frogs, and some random tree frogs. I am mainly a reptile person my father and I worked together to breed creston geckos, leopard geckos, and corn snakes until we got a Harlequin Macaw then we sold alot of our reptile and 5 months ago just got some snakes, and an iguana then we got a few more things and recently my dad went to the des moines expo and he bought herpers 2 and told me all about the frogs they had at the show and herpers 2 was better than the 1st and had some cool frogs in it.
11/13 Sunday is the Kansas City Expo and I saved up my money so my dad would take me with him. I have around $40 and I am hopefully going to buy a pair of bumble bee toads, I really think that they look amazing and would be very cool to own.
If any1 has any suggested frogs/toads for about $20 I should look for please post, ALSO IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE AT THE SHOW PM ME.

Welcome aboard. I would bring a little bit more money, forty dollars may not get you two.
I did not buy the bumble bee toads something closer to the doors caught my eye.
I decided to buy 2 amazon milk frogs, they are both 1/2 long and beutiful.
I purchased some fruit flies as the guy recommended. I got them from reptiles ect.
They were very helpful.
One of the frogs isn't moving very much but he is moving the other is very active and moves alot.
Also the one who doesnt move much when putting him in the terrarium he spread his legs out and didnt move for a while.
If he does move and gets stuck he does it too. Anybody have any suggestions?
