Absolutely!! because actually the topic of telling apart males from females in the amphibian world is quite popular... especially when it's not obvious in maturity or mating seasons

Wonder if similar behavior occurs with some other species of amphibians, rather than just toads?

possibly... someone should get a bunch of young frogs and just listen quietly.... I haven't read anything about it though, and I've done a lot of research on almost all toads and a decent amount of frog species... I feel like we're on the verge of a breakthrough!
