This is my unnamed African Bullfrog; at least until find out it's sex. Right now it's reaching 3 in. and when visited yesterday store for crickets noticed it's brothers and sisters are 1/3 to 1/2 smaller, so it's growing fast with me the 10 days I've had it. Housing is a 10 gal. tank with very simple set-up. Initially had some pebbles in there but after reading about frogs swallowing all kinds of non-edible stuff got rid of them before they fit it's mouth. Now have a plant and an upturned clay dish as single decor. It's an all water set-up and frog spends all day in water but in the morning have been finding it on top of the dish last couple of days.

Tank temperature stays between 79-80F and humidity around 75%. Been spraying tank and covered with glass the top screened area (not below light bulbs) but can't get humidity to 80 yet. Researching humidifiers right now, also getting a digital hygrometer that can be calibrated soon. Diet is daily feedings alternating between earthworms and dusted crickets/mealworms. Do have a couple questions:

1. At what length should I go to every other day feeding?
2. What are your thought's on deworming frog (do all or only for animals showing digestive or health problems)?
3. Any tricks to raise humidity other than spraying? Reptile foggers in market appear not to work for long and reviews are not the best?

Future plans include a nice enclosure based on a 40 gal. breeder (36x18x18 in.) tank. Will be water based with a ramp to dry area and some kind of waterfall powered by XP1 return outlet to splash water and raise humidity up. Have tank, heater for it, just got filter (Rena XP1 for $29.99 at Petsmart's Rena liquidation) and some decor. Looking for a stand and need to get the screen top plus a couple decor items. Will start a thread on build-up once get things going.

BTW, saw some nice Monkey Walking frogs on store yesterday... held one in hand... so cute! Thanks for visiting!
