I have no experience with red-leg, so I can't really give you any advice on that, but since you mentioned neosporin I thought I'd put in that if you ever use neosporin on any amphibian, make sure you use the kind without painkillers. Painkillers will kill your frog.

You can also try a very small amount of sea salt in the water. It could drawl out anything within the foot. Has to be uniodized salt just pure sea salt. A few flakes or granuals disolved in the water. Don't get it in the frogs eyes incase it could irritate them.
