yes i do understand that that brown dosnt meen dehydrated but she could barley move and couldnt sitck to anything and was lying on the terrium floor kinda srivled. i soaked her and she is getting better. i am kinda confused tho because 20 quarts is small but i keep adult snakes in 28 quart tank(hognoses). anyways i currently have a fake leaf thing. and severl small artifical rocks for her to hid in. i put her ina 6 quart untill she gets better. can you post pics of your set up? she has a small water bowl but its long so she can always soak and ive been keeping the hummidty high till she recovers then ill move her back to her terrium. also i find that witht eh coco fiber, it gets moldey in a matter of weeks and i replace all bedding montly unless its paper towels which i replace every time after feeding. when i feeed i take everything out so crickets dont get lost and ill remove them after 30 mins or so. i am really worried and hope that when i feed her tommrow she will eat no prob. any other tips? i might try potted plants soon. any suggestions on what ive just said or perviously said? any way to improve her condition and more? i mean her tank was humid i dont know how she got dried out. i never see her soaking tho so i try to keep it more moist. round 80% hummidity

also recently he kept falling over on his back and had difficutly getting back up. he seems lathargic. he is rubing his face and yawning. could he possible having a bad shed ebcause he wasnt moist enough? and now he has soked is ready to try again?

20 quarts is small, the bare minimum you'll usually find recommended for an adult is 10 gallons. Mine is in a 13 gallon tank that's 20" tall, and it probably spends 90% of it's time in the top third of the tank. They like to be high, in a small tank there is no 'high'. I feel that my tank is too small now that mine is an adult and will be moving him to a 29 gallon within the next couple of weeks. Here's my current setup (though with much more foliage as this is from a year ago when first planted)-http://www.frogforum.net/vivarium-te...-enclosed.html. It has live plants and has been seeded with springtails and sow bugs to take care of waste and I haven't changed the substrate since it's been setup a year ago. It doesn't spoil if you have a good balance of microfauna to take care of it.

The falling on the back seems like the first thing mentioned in Frog Forum - Basic Frog First Aid- stress, and suggests a diluted honey bath. But I honestly have no experience with that so hopefully someone will chime in with another opinion.

Face rubbing and yawning sounds like shedding though. The yawning is them eating the shed, you should be able to see it bunch up in the corners of the mouth as it's happening if all is going well.

my frogs were very unhappy and stressed until i put them in the 33 gal exo terra. wow what a change in activity. i think 75 degrees may be too cold. i have a basking light and they love it. their color and activity changes with the temp.
