Default What do I feed my newly grown poison dart? It's so small...

    Hey all...
One of my poison dart eggs has hatched recently. It has grown to just under 1cm so was wondering what kind of food would be suitable for that size of a frog...I've tried fruit flies already but he/she doesn't seem that interested...

    Thanks!

Springtails would be your best bet until they are large enough to take bigger. What species are they? You would be surprised how quickly some froglets will move onto melanogaster. You could try culturing "stunted" flies - add less medium or more flies when you start the culture and you end up with slightly smaller flies in my experience.
    0.0.2 Ceratophrys cranwelli
    0.0.3 Dendrobates azureus
    0.0.4 Dendrobates tinctorius "Alanis" (tads)
    3.3.0 Epipedobates anthonyi (+tads!)
    0.0.1 Lepidobatrachus laevis
    0.0.4 Pyllobates terribilis
    0.0.3 Ranitomeya imitator "Chazuta"
    0.0.3 Ranitomeya vanzolini
    0.0.6 Xenopus laevis
