Watching some crickets looking sweet and innocent in her light green....
Sneaking up on them in her camouflage .....
Here she comes.... Sorry little crickets, you're about to become dinner...

Nice pics . You read my mind Heather. Guess what just i was doing. Click, click.lol![]()
Love the way she catches her crickets! Right off the side of the tank! Amazing frog!
The pictures aren't great. I need a good camera. But...
I love the way she changes. One minute all relaxed and light green. Then she changes color and it's like "look out"! "I'm hungry"! Lol!
Her current 'color' pretty much tells you what she's up to. When she sleeps she's the light lime green to sometimes almost a minty light green. Lime green is her calm color. Like her relaxed, happy color. I quickly learned that dark green is hunting time. When she's dark greenish brown she's usually down at the water bowl just blending in with the surroundings. She very rarely soaks though. I've only seen her that color a few times. She is never dark green or brown during the daytime.
You can see how even her facial expressions change. She always looks so sweet in her lime. She looks like a sneaky spy when she's dark, lol!
Too cute!!!
Even though they're nocturnal and you have to wait up to watch them, they are definitely amazing frogs! And worth the wait.

I LOVE the dark green color.

Do you have any lights on when you're watching her at night? Love the picture of her on the leaf!
Amazing froggie, shes cute :P
She wakes up around 9 or 10 pm when I turn off the main lights in my room. If my computer or overhead reading light is on she'll still wake up. Lately I've had her infared light on to keep her tank warm. It doesn't seem to bother her. Nor did the moon night light I used to use. Actually, the crickets collect under the light on her favorite leaf when it's on. Easy access for her. I do sneak her hood light on for pictures occasionally though. If I leave it on too long she'll curl up on a leaf, branch, or the glass and go back to sleep. Once her eyes constrict from the light she's off to la la land, lol!
She is a really mellow retf. She'll sleep right on the front glass sometimes. She loves her left leaf best to sleep on.
If you haven't tossed her crickets in yet and she's hungry she'll sit right at the front of the glass on her branches looking out waiting. She cracks me up!![]()

My baby retf Bubbles does not wake, wander, or eat unless it is pretty dark. But, she too is very mellow. I tell ya, I got her from joshsfrogs and she never once stressed out. Although I rarely touch her and only clean her home when she's asleep, you can pick her up and let her crawl up your arm and she has yet to try and hop off or pee on me. She too looks right out of the front glass.
I have been very lucky they interact well with me!![]()

Lol! I think you're right. I think she's spoiled
. I love her facial expression in the lime picture. Reminds me of a puppy. Lol!
