Yeah, those stands look pretty when finished but are a pain to put together! Still not as bad as something from Ikea tho

It's for my red eye tree frogs . Making a tropical rainforest with a waterfall for them.

Tank is in a 10 gal, but if he keeps growing like he is now he may end up in the 29 gal, lol!

Never buy a 45 piece desk. Had to put together my moms a while ago. that sucked. hows the stand coming?

Just finished it. It's bigger than I thought. I can't slide it bc it's so heavy, so I'm off to Walmart to get some sliders .

As my retf's will be living together in this new home when it's complete, I thought I'd see how they react to one another. So I did a trial of my babies together last night. This was their first encounter. Bubbles was too small to live with Stickers when I first got her.

It went well. Both just hoped around the tank and side walls. Then they both stuck to the from wall and stayed there. I had removed most of the plants. I am hoping they adjust well. Although Stickers peed on me when taking her out of her current tank. She is not used to being held. I kept them together for may 15-20 minutes and then put Stickers back and put Bubbles other plant back in. I was definitely more nervous putting them together than they were .

I was amazed to truly see the differences in their colors. Both are very pretty. Definitely of different origin. They both vary from lime green, to dark green or green-brown at night. Stickers has more orange eyes and turquoise side stripes and Bubbles has the red eyes and her blue is darker, almost purplish. I purchased Stickers from a local pet store called Buzz-N-Bees and Bubbles from Josh's Frogs.

I can hardly wait to finish their new home so they can enjoy their little rainforest .

So cool! Your frogs are beautiful. Keep us posted on how it's coming! awesome so far. only took you like 6 hours to put the stand together :P

Look Heather, if you still think the stand is not strong enough. I can take care of your phobia. Ill bring over my screw gun and some dry wall screws and have the stand reinforced for you. This way you can put as many red eyes as you like. lol. By the way I'm very jealous. thats a beautiful stand and tank. I know you thats going to be a killer tank.

Ha ha ha!!! I can just see it now, lol!!! Thanks! I'm very excited. I moved the stand all over the room today seeing where it might go best. I was going to put it in my room, but I think it might be best enjoyed in the living room for everyone to see.

I'll likely put fish in the old 29gal. Probably some Columbian shark catfish. They're my favorites .

I'll keep Tank in my room. It's nice and quiet there.

Ya take it from me. don't put red eyes in you room.. A good front comes through they will not shut up. lol..
Just curious, columbian shark cat fish.. Do they also go by the name silver shark? Very cool fish.
