I have two White's TFs housed separately. One is about 2" s to v (housed in a 12x12x18" Exo Terra), and the larger is about 3" s to v (housed in a 18x18x24" Exo Terra). The larger is a male for sure and I believe the smaller one is as well, although I have not been able to distinguish if the smaller White's TF is calling, or if it is my Amazon Milk Frogs right next door.
Anyway, I'm moving soon and I really want to lose a terrarium, and I was hoping to do that by moving the smaller White's TF in with the larger one. I have tried them together after they have both eaten for about 10 to 15 minutes. There is no way that the smaller frog would fit in the larger frogs mouth but that does not stop him from trying. He will jump toward the smaller frog, and the smaller frog will jump away, this happened about 3 times in 15 minutes.
Looking for suggestions, I plan to give the larger exo terra terrarium a complete overhaul before I move it to my new place and thus add the smaller frog. I'm kind of hoping that being in a completely new environment may distract the frogs from the fact that they are now rooming together.
Do you think the larger frog will leave the smaller one alone once they get used to each other?
Would the smaller frog be in any real danger? even from stress?
Thanks!
