I have 2 Pac, a Brown(roughly a year old) and an Albino(5 months old) think the brown is Male and Albino Female, I randomly hear little "Cherps" coming from the tank as if I had a bird????
Could it just be the frog's legs rubbing against the bottom glass? Another guess would be respiratory issues?
Nah, I've heard rthat noise plenty of times, like I said it sounds almost like a bird??
I am here to tell you that if you think it is a male calling, it will NOT sound like a chirping bird. You will KNOW a male mating call when you hear it. It is LOUD.

When Grif was younger she would make a chirping noise. She chirped almost the whole way home when we got her. If I had the volume on my camera she would chirp every time it beeped. So cute! But she only did that for the first month or so when we got her. I have never heard it from my other pacman Loki though. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but it definitely isn't a mating call!
