I've seen a few female ornates peaking at 8-9" svl (one at a show and another on here). Thanks for catching me on that though; generally they would reach 5-7" maxed, but genetics and great husbandry can lead to larger. Actually, the c. aurita was rumored (myths because little is known about them) to be a huge pacman in the wild, but it turns out that their documented growth is around the same size as an adult cranwelli. I know of a source who used to breed a couple of adult pairs by the name of Philippe Vosjoli a few years back.
