Just got the lil guy 2 days ago and wanted to spice it up a bit with more room to add. So moved him from the 16qt tub to 28qt tub.
Repti Bark as base substrate with Eco Earth 2" on top of that. 8oz Deli cup with rocks to raise water and allow him to get out.
Next time i shop ill find something else to add in.
Good design but rather sparse on cover. He will appreciate things to hide under.

Yea, Ill work on more cover, But funds are tight this time of month after feeding all the snakes and getting rodent food. Right after taking pictures he burrowed and been there since. I may get some Slate pieces and build a tunnel for him in different spots.
Add a fake plant or two. It really would make to viv look more alive and make your toad feel more secure.
Im working on it on finding something that fits just right.
If funds are tight, Dollar Tree (Not sure about 99 cent store) sells artificial plants you can either have it stand up or just lay it down in the bedding for cover. Just a thought if you wanted something cheap and could sanitize the plants. Cool toad.
Not that funds are tight per-say just certain times of month im hit with the snake business. So I have to wait a week till i get some stuff.
The vines at the dollar stores have cheap metal inside them that rust with the slightest moisture. Im working on finding some skulls to add in. Havent found one i like yet.
I got his setup done, and just got 500 dubias in today. Those that feed dubias how are you offering them with a loose substrate.
I have 7 in a small 8oz deli container, same as one pictured above for the water. I put one water crystal and lil bit of chow for them to eat till toad eats. Toad hasnt eaten for 2-3 days. Will he jump down in or lean in and get them or what.
Just Updating that the Feeding Cup was PITA. And the lil guy would get inside it and sleep. He did eat dubias out of it but not that well.
So now i put 5 dubias every 3 days in a 6qt tub thats empty, put him in there and watch him chase them around the tub eating em all up.. Gotten bigger now eating dubias.
