Default feeding insects that have not been raised in dechlorinated environment

My fat frog is really going through packs of nightcrawlers quickly. There are some bulk worms for sale locally, but the water sprayed on the soil has not been dechlorinated. Is this safe? They are raised in soil without chemical fertilizers. To be honest, I am not sure the packs of worms from the pet store are raised in chlorine free environments.

They should be fine. Chlorine evaporates fairly quickly, so by the time you get the worms, most of it is gone. If you are concerned, drop the worms into a cup of de-chlorinated water to rinse off any soil and then feed them off. It's how we do it here.
