So instead of sending me just one brick. To replace the one that had stones in it. Zoo Med sent me 3 bricks and a a sample of Reptivite and a sample of New Improved Reptisafe water conditioner. Not too bad. Now I have 7 bricks because I've used 2. I guess I won't be needing substrate for a while Lol!
Thats cool that they did that for ya! Never had a problem with eco-earth containing anything weird, but glad to know that they rectify the problem in a nice way.
On a serious note what good are 100 bricks when your frog is dead. The real issue is what are they going to do to improve the problem.
Great for you. Hope you don't find any more hazardous things in the future >.>
That's cool that they sent you some their miscellaneous supplies with 3 bricks.
That's nice of them, but I'm still not risking being the person who gets bricks with fire ants. Having a seizure for setting up a frog tank doesn't sound like my idea of a great time...
If that was to happen you would own that company artes.
I might just have to file a complaint. I found sand, Easter grass, and a pebble in my bag.
When I called them they told me that that stuff sits outside for years sometimes so it can easily have debry blown into it. I guess rather than spending money on an oven to dry out the compressed bricks and bagged coco fiber they get to dry it for free from the sun. Still makes me mad regardless. I really don't know what else to use because its a good possibility that different companies who have a form of coco fiber use the same supplier so either way it could end up having stones/plastic/and twigs.
