Default Can I use a higher wattage?

    Hey guys,

My white's enclosure has a dual lighting fixture, and I'm using a 26w CFL and a 25w black incandescent...The house has been getting colder and dropping to 58-62 at night, and her tank has been cooling down to a low 67. It's been on 24/7 and only brings it up to about 75 max during the day...can I use a 40 w at night and swap it for the 25w during the day, or would that be too much? My mom wants to go out later today for it, because we've been having to turn up the heat in my room for him, and a nw bulb is a lot cheaper than oil lol. Thanks!

some of the hoods only take 26 watt max. i add a clamp lamp resting on the screen lid in addition to the hood in the winter. if its really cold i use 40 watt. usually 25watt. 2 in hood and 1 in clamp lamp
