I can't write a longer post right now, but the short is, according to me, that there is no other kind of species that you want to mix it with (unless perhaps a few guppies, but then you need a big water section which is potentially dangerous for tree frogs).

    Short answer: None.

Long answer: Amphibians and reptiles should not be kept together in the same enclosure. Diffenet species of reptiles and amphibians should not be kept in the same enclosure. Only 1 species per tank. Amphibians produce toxins (All amphibians, not just the noted ones, most are only mild) that slowly kill off the other animal. Reptiles don't produce these toxins, but reptiles are generally more aggresive and/or territorial. Also, please look at the previous threads on this topic before posting another. Martin just posted recent ones.

Well thank you for the answer a lot .

I`ve read a lot of articles about this and some say it is not good for the animals but most of them say that it is not a problem to mix animals i one big vivarium.

I wrote you because a Bulgarian exotic animal shop owner keeps a lot of different animals in smaller terrariums of mine and i asked him what kind of species can i put in the terrarium of the big-eyed and he offered a lot of things(little gecons, other types of frogs, and a crab).

Unfortunately i bought on trust of him the Coenobita clypeatus (hermit crab). After that i`ve read articles about them and i found a lot of difference in the care requirements.

1)So can you tell me what to do with the crab? Well what is best for him/she???

2)And lastly there is no other species (gecos or crab or frog)that i can take care and to live happy with the 4 of the big eyed tree frogs???

If not..... this dude is not OK .....he tried to trick me....just to sell his defenseless little animals ...... so wrong ....

Thanks for the patience and excuse me but that is my firs terrarium and i`m really excited

Don't mix em, ever. NEVER beneficial to the animals. Never really kept hermit crabs, so can't help you there, sorry.
