Since I just built my White's viv, I'm gonna wait a couple weeks to start my next one, but my mom now is also hooked and wants a tank for the living room (Dendrobates Tinctorius "Azureus"). I picked up a ten gallon at yesterdays show that is going to be a quarantine tank for now when I get another White's, and after the the Dart's tank. I think. I was thinking a pair of tincs...sound good? Standard Great Stuff/ Silicone/Eco-earth background. Lot's of broms and other small plants. Any advice/help/tips or tricks? Never kept darts before, so this is a learning curve for me.
10g is a bit small for tincs, but it will work. I wrote the dart frog terrarium article with tincs in mind.

Alright, I was basing mine off yours actually. Slightly different stuff but same basic concept.
Alright, so I plan on breeding these guys (My first attempt at breeding any animal) so any advice is appreciated. Also, What bromelaids should I be looking for that hold water? Any other nice plants to use? Anyone know a link to a good breeding guide by any chance? I'm hoping they don't need to aestivate like white's and numerous other frog breeds. Thanks!

After doing some research I know have some idea on how to breed them. It seems pretty simple actually. Has anyone had any better luck with petri dishes under coco huts or 35mm film canisters for tincs....Thanks!
