I live in California and my boyfriend and I got 4 little froggies but we're not sure what kind they are. The are really small and change colors, all ranging from brown, grey, dark greenish brown, with stripes and spots. I've been suggested baja California tree frogs or pacific chorus frogs but I'm still not sure! Any suggestions? Also, I'm new to the forum as well as a new frog owner. I had a toad when I was really little but don't remember too much, same with my boyfriend. So any suggestions on the sight and frogs would be super!
It's kind of hard to say, but it looks like it could be one of the following three frogs (although I more so think it could be the Northern Pacific treefrog):
Northern Pacific Treefrog - Pseudacris regilla
Sierran Treefrog - Pseudacris sierra
Baja California Treefrog - Pseudacris hypochondriaca hypochondriaca

They are Pacific Tree Frogs I believe.
Those are pacific tree/chorus frogs. I live in Washington and those we sometimes find in our backyard.
And I am absolutely positively sure.
Oh and first the pic is really nice btw! Haha
Definitely chorus frogs.
actually those are not chorus frogs
those are the northern pacific california tree frogs
i catch those at my house all the time
the chorus frogs around here never actually have the dark stripe across their eyes
