I think it should be ok after all it's just like feeding your toad a mealworm it will be digested by the stomach acid.

I wouldn't worry about it. Meal worms are a very tough "food item" and can easily chew through palstic, cardboard, skin, etc. And they are safe to feed to amphibians because they have a very strong stomach acid, that kills them quickly.
I don't think the grubs, and larvae are cause for concern.
