No problem = ) Debbie and Dexter are awesome folks. I've seen a couple other tables that yielded similar overall results: High protein and low fat is a common trend with all roach species, they tend to only vary slightly. It's strange, there really isn't a significant difference between the species or even between genus - whereas common larvae and cricket species can vary quite significantly.
And I assume your talking about Madagacar Hissing Roaches - I use em as feeders lol. The nymphs make great feeders, although I don't own anything large enough that I would want to feed an adult male to. They do climb glass... but they are relatively prolific breeders surprisingly in my opinion. I just feed off nymphs and cull occasional adults when the colony gets a little out of hand.

I bought some turks as well, just waiting for them to deliver. Are they any good? I used to have a small colony of dubia but quickly fed them away because I grew impatient with the 50 I bought...which I know now was a mistake
I like them so far. So different from the dubias. The original 1000 I bought have dwindled in numbers since i started feeding them to the fire bellies, so i just bought 2000 more. I figure that should get us through winter. If my geckos like them, I may replace the dubias with lateralis. My older gecko won't eat lobster roaches, so I am hoping these taste better than lobsters to her. I gave some to my baby gecko, and she ate them, but the next time, she seemed to be avoiding them in favor of the dubias that were also in the bowl.
reviving this thread. i used to have Lateralis when i bred Crested Geckos, and they were too easy to breed, i always had more roaches than i could give away. i used no substrate, just egg crates in a sterilite container with a screen modified lid. ( i had to tell my hubby they were beetles, b/c if i said roaches, he would have killed me). a few got away, but never caused any issues. i would occasionally see one, step on it, and no worries. kept them in the basement storage area. i would think lateralis would work better than dubia for most people on the forum, bc the size is much smaller and they don't climb or burrow. i am considering getting more when my Grays grow up.
