    Default Exo Terra Lighting

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anybody knows whether or not the Exo Terra Night Glow bulbs can be used inside the compact top?

    Thanks.

Should be alright. I can't think of a reason they wouldn't.

Just remember that (at least some of the tops) can only be used with maximum 26W lights, not more. Exo terra have a 25W night glow, but it's emitting very little light, at least in my experince.

Ah thanks guys. I have just seen some videos about it anway. I was a little unsure because of the shape of the Night Glow lightbulbs, seeing as the tops were originally desgined for use with just the compact fluorescent bulbs.

The Night glow 25w are a small cylinder shape, so it fits. I've tried it myself. I'm unsure about the regular bulbs, however, the bigger bulbs have higher wattages.

as per previous posts plus regular bulbs fit too but as stated you are limited to the 26w which is useless anyhow. do yourself a favour and get a moonlight LED bulb fitted to the top. cost you nothing to run with no heat variations(unless needed) and you get a decent "spot" of moonlight into which ever part of the viv you prefer.

Thanks again for the help guys. But I have one more question: Would Zoo Med Excavator Clay be suitable for buliding a background, hides etc. for Whites Tree Frogs? I was thinking something like http://photos.zoochat.com/large/img_08251-70667.jpg
